One person who was proud of his caste tried to assign the status of others based on caste hierarchy. The first, being Brahmins; the second, kshatriya, the warrior caste; the third, Vaishyas, those who get involved in trade and commerce; the fourth, Shudras, who serve all the above three. He will ask for the surname and do research, and find their status and treat them as their hierarchical status deserves. One Christian came to his city and became his neighbour. Somehow, he wanted to know his caste status. Interestingly, that man did not have a normal surname, but Masih as his surname. Intrigued, he tried many tactics, like asking about his native village, ancestors, and the work they did…etc. The Christian one day said, “My surname is Adam.”
Creation of the world: The first chapter in the Bible describes the creation of the heavens, earth, landscape, seas, sun, moon, stars, vegetation, birds, fish, animals, and then man was created. God created the world, prepared to become a human habitation. A special home of the Garden of Eden was created. God created all in six days and rested on the seventh day, making it a mandatory rest for humans. In all cultures, the seven-day week is the norm, which points to the creation account in the Bible. (Genesis 1)
Creation of the first couple: God created all his creation out of nothing, by His Word. However, God created man in His image. So, he chose to use raw material, dust or sand, to create the first man, Adam. Then he breathed into his nostrils, his breath that made him a living soul. (Genesis 2:7) Adam felt lonely, even in paradise, the Garden of Eden. Giving Adam a deep sleep, the Lord removed a rib from Adam and created a woman, Eve. They became the first human couple created by God. (Genesis 2:21-22)
Descendants of Adam: All humans are descendants of the first human couple, Adam and Eve. Irrespective of their nationality, race, caste, class, culture, and language, they belong to one human family.
Do I believe that all humans are descendants of the first couple?
