Blasphemy

Blasphemy laws are in many countries. A person uttering some words against the religious leaders or hurting their sentiments will be considered as blasphemy. The punishment could be a death sentence. The Truth of the Scripture condemns the whole of humanity as blasphemers. Apostle John writes: “If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar.” (I John 1:10) Any human who does not acknowledge that s/he is a sinner is effectively a blasphemer, calling God a liar.
Inherited sin: Adam and Eve transgressed against God and rebelled against God. (I John 3:4; Genesis 3) Paul writes that sin came into the world as an inheritance because of Adam and Eve’s disobedience. (Romans 5:12) As humans inherit physical characteristics from parents, all inherit sinful nature from Adam and Eve. All have sinned and have come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)
Committed sin: In daily life, all humans sin. It could be a violation of the Ten Commandments. The moral and ethical failures are sins committed willfully.
Intended sin: Some sins are not physically executed but conceived in the thoughts. These intentions are committed sins from God’s perspective. If a man looks at a woman with an evil intention, he has already sinned and committed adultery with her. (Matthew 5:28) A person considers himself to be right always, but God weighs the heart. (Proverbs 21:2)
The sin of omission: When a person has the knowledge, resources, power, and authority to use them, but neglects or willfully fails to use them for the good and benefit of others, he sins against God. (James 4:17) There are many benefits, schemes, and scholarships available for common people. However, they are not delivered by the bureaucrats. By not serving people, they sin against God.
The sin of rejection: The ultimate sin is rejecting the Lord Jesus Christ. God has created a way for sinners to be reconciled with God. The Lord Jesus Christ came into this world, died on the cross, was buried, and rose again from the dead. He is the only way to salvation.
