Culture of Sodom?

A 13-year-old boy after watching porn on his mobile sexually assaulted his nine-year-old sister, who was sleeping, and later killed her in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh. His mother, and two elder sisters – aged 17 and 18 – helped in the cover-up and were detained by the police. (NDTV 28 July 2024) After escaping judgment on Sodom and Gomorrah, the daughters of Lot lived in a cave near Zoar. These girls made him drunk and had sons born through this immoral relationship. The sons were Moab and Ben-Ammi, whose descendants are Moabites and Ammonites. (Genesis 19:30-38) Sodom and Gomorrah were cities filled with sexual, jealous, covetous, oppressive, and immoral sins. The cultural influence on the daughters of Lot was obvious, even though he is termed as righteous. (II Peter 2:7) Corrupted culture will overwhelm the world as in the days of Noah and Lot. (Luke 17:26-30)
Smart Phone: A gadget that could make a person smart or a saint or sinner is available in the hands of people. Foolish parents allowed a 13-year-old to use a smartphone, and watch porn.
Porn: The portrayal of sex as casual, playful, joyful, and with anyone by the media, social media influencers, and even counselors. The Biblical perspective of sex as holy in the context of the husband-and-wife relationship and as sin outside is considered an old-fashioned idea. The worst effect is porn is normal even for kids.
Rape: Paul wrote to young Timothy to treat all older women as mothers and younger women as sisters. (I Timothy 5:2) Tragically, this teenager saw all women including his own sister as a prostitute. And like a beast, he could rape her. The sanctity of sibling relationships was violated.
Murder: In front of his mother, he could kill his sister, whom he had raped. The wicked mother who thought her son was more important to her, and whatever a son does is adorable, allowed her own daughter to be murdered.
Cover-up: Strangely, two elder sisters also joined the mother to cover up the gruesome act.
Am I swallowed by the culture, or do I redeem culture with Scripture?
