Current location and destination

There were floods and landslides in the hilly terrain. A young man who wanted to experience adventure was lost and was trying to find his way out. The people trying to help him could contact him and ask him his current location. However, neither his smartphone nor his mind could state his location. Rescuers could easily reach the person only when they know the person’s location and then lead him to the final destination. Or rescuers should comb the whole area to find the lost man’s location.
Status: The spiritual journey to the desired destination of heaven also needs help. The person should know the current location. The young man could not have signals on his smartphone, but in the spiritual journey, all humans are blind. Satan has blinded the minds of all so that they may not recognise the glory of Christ and the good news. (II Corinthians 4:4) Also, all sinners live amid spiritual darkness as blind persons.
Lost: Only when a person realises that he is lost, he would seek help. Most people try their best to find the path. Some continue in the path believing that, as all roads lead to Rome, they will end up in heaven.
Great light: The Lord Jesus Christ’s birth and ministry brought a great light to those who lived in darkness and were also in the shadow of death. (Matthew 4:16)
Rescuers: All disciples are called to be rescuers of those who are lost. The Church is mandated to go out and search for those who are lost. Some are lost like the coin and the virgin who lost the oil. They do not know they are lost, and do not know the maker. Few are like sheep that are lost. Sheep knew it was lost, but did not know the way home. Many seekers are like that, know the need for a saviour, but do not know the saviour. Many are like the younger son, lost away from home and the elder son inside the home. Younger son realised, repented and returned. The elder son could not reconcile to father, brother, and the festival of forgiveness. (Luke 15)
Am I on the right path for the eternal destination?
