Satan could take possession of people if they give their willing consent. There are many examples in the bible.
Kings – Lucifer: The King of Babylon is personified as Lucifer, the Fallen Angel. (Isaiah 14:12) When such possession of people happens, they become powerful, and common people may consider them as a divine, living god or a demigod. The king of Tyre was also considered Satan, as he reflected his wicked characteristics. (Ezekiel 28)
Slave girl: A slave girl was possessed by a demonic spirit who lived in the city of Philippi. She was a fortune teller, and through her, the owners were earning money. This evil spirit could cry out, stating that Paul and his team were servants of the Most High God, daily. One day, Paul was so irritated that he rebuked and cast out the demon. (Acts 16:16-18)
Swine: The Lord Jesus Christ cast out a legion of demons from a violent man. The demons did not want to go back to hell and pleaded with the Lord to allow them to go and enter the pigs. When the Lord gave permission, these demons possessed two thousand pigs, and they were all drowned in the sea. (Mark 5:13)
Sorcerers: Some men or women are associated with evil spirits in many places. They practice magic, witchcraft, cast spells, and practice divination. Philip confronted a sorcerer in Samaria. (Acts 8:9-13) The city of Ephesus describes how a group of former sorcerers in Ephesus burned their magical books publicly. The books’ value was estimated at fifty thousand pieces of silver. (Acts 19:19)
Why not AI?: The Book of Revelation speaks about the false prophets and the anti-Christ as beasts. Artificial Intelligence is the talk of the town. Some think it is good technology for the progress of humanity, and others, it is the ultimate disaster of the world. The beast mentioned in the Revelation could be an AI? (Revelation 13:15) As Satan used kings, slaves, sorcerers, and even swine by possessing them, he can empower an antichrist now. All happenings in the world will culminate in the Coming of the Lord. Even technology is for that purpose.
Am I always awake and alert, waiting for His Coming?
