Malayalam actor Navya Nair was reportedly fined AUD 1,980 (around ₹1.14 lakh) after officials found her carrying a jasmine flower string about 15 cm long in her carry bag at Melbourne airport. Nair admitted that the act was against the law, calling it a mistake made unknowingly. “Ignorance is no excuse,” she remarked. (Hindustan Times, 7 September 2025) Vegetables, fruits, flowers, and a few other items are not allowed to be carried to international destinations. Paul also writes that ignorance about the True God, His eternal power, and divine attributes is no excuse. (Romans 1:20)
Revelation in creation: God is the creator, and all the visible creation bears the evidence and testimony about God. The whole creation coming into existence and being sustained for generations declares God’s eternal power. The skies, space, and atmosphere declare the glory of God. And it is a daily proclamation of God’s eternal power, attributes, and glory. (Psalm 19:1-2) Sadly, some people are fascinated with nature and some objects of nature, and worship them. For some, it is Mother Earth, and for others sun and planets become deities.
Revelation in Law: In the Rich Man and Lazar parable, the rich man, going through torment in hell, wanted Abraham to send Lazar back to the world. So that Lazar could warn his five brothers about the future and eternal life, repent, and not come to hell. However, Abraham said that if people did not believe the Law of Moses, even if a dead man becomes alive and shares the message, they will not believe. (Luke 16:19-31) God chose the Nation of Israel to teach the world God’s Law, but they themselves did not keep the Law, and failed to communicate it to the world.
Revelation in Jesus: The Bible declares that God spoke to humanity by various means; ultimately, He has spoken through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. (Hebrews 1:1-2) Hence, the Church has been mandated to preach and teach the gospel to all creation. (Matthew 28:18-20)
