Four aspects of blessings

There is always a lapse in the lives of the disciples: they are not grateful enough. They tend to forget the load of benefits the Lord showers upon them. (Psalms 103:1-2) Paul writes about at least four blessings that the Lord Jesus Christ gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works. (Titus 2:14)
Past forgiven: God was gracious and generous to send His Son into the world to die for our sins. He died on the cross of Calvary, was buried, rose again, and ascended to Heaven. The resurrection and ascension of the Most High Priest in the order of Melchizedek has atoned for our sins and is seated on the right hand of the Father. (Hebrews 5:6-10; 6:20; 7:1-21) Hence sinners are redeemed and declared righteous. (Romans 8:33,34)
Purification: The good Lord has purified His people. As the Father in Heaven is Holy, believers are called to live a Holy life. (I Peter 1:15)
Possession: God calls His people the Treasured Possession. (Deuteronomy 14:2) Sovereign, Eternal, and Almighty God does not need either treasure or possession. As He is the owner of everything that is seen and unseen. Yet, because of His love for His chosen people, have declared them as Treasured Possession.
Purpose & Meaning: People of God ought to be Zealous for Good Works. Many people do not know why they are born or live in this world. Some are under the tyranny of rulers, religions, or systems that oppress them all days of their lives. However, Christians know that God has created humans for His glory. (Isaiah 43:6-7) They are not cosmic orphans taking multiple births without purpose but sent to this world with a godly and righteous purpose. Blessed people are those who mediate His Word and are like planted trees producing fruit. (Psalms 1:1-3) Those who discover God’s plan in their lives will enjoy peace, celebrate life, and contribute to the world through their good works.
How grateful am I for these four blessings?
