Godly Entertainment?

One so-called worship leader declared: “I compete with movie performers. I want to sing, dance, and do concerts better than them. My stage performance would be the best. I do it for the glory of God.” It is a problematic, pathetic, and pitiful statement by a foolish person. Tragically, this person has created a new phrase, concept, and an event called Godly entertainment. These stupid leaders do not experience the call of God to come out of darkness and walk in marvelous light. (I Peter 2:9) Prophet Isaiah warns those who create their own light and fire. “Behold, all you who kindle a fire, who equip yourselves with burning torches! Walk by the light of your fire, and by the torches that you have kindled! This you have from my hand: you shall lie down in torment. (Isaiah 50:11)
Godliness: It is defined as the quality, attitude, and practice of conforming to the laws, requirements, and truth revealed in the Bible; and doing the desire or plan or will of God with devotedness, moral uprightness, reverential fear, and total commitment. Those who deny, dishonor, disobey, and doubt God, His righteousness, goodness, and grace are ungodly people. It is becoming like God, not like celebrities.
Casual and carnal: Worship, ministry, preaching, and teaching are not to be done either casually or carnally. Aaron’s sons Nadab and Abihu casually approached for sacrificing to God and died. (Leviticus 10:1-10) Eli’s sons Hophni and Phinehas stole the sacrifices from the altar for their carnal desires. (I Samuel 2:13-16) All these four young people died for understanding the Majesty, magnificence, and holiness of God.
Performance or calling: One person can sing, preach, and teach. He said he was doing that to use time for a good cause. He had neither a sense of calling nor a realization he was serving God. Since, by doing so, he was feeling good, elated, honored, and shown hospitality.
Pulpit: This means to pull people from the pit. It is not a platform for performance, but to speak the mind of God.
Do I realize that godliness and entertainment cannot be integrated?
