Missional Mindset

The rich man did not care about the poor Lazar living as a pavement dweller outside his home. The one who had sumptuous meals was able to see him from inside. Yet, he put him off his mind. The poor Lazarus was honored in his death; angels escorted him to Abraham’s bosom, while the rich man got a VIP funeral with perhaps State Honours. Sadly, the rich man ended up in hell. (Luke 16:19-31) In most parts of the world, the rich are like the rich man described in the parable. They are not interested in helping the poor and alleviating them from their misery.
