There are about twenty houses, which are owned by millionaires in the city. However, there is no approach road to those houses. The electricity is erratic; hence, all have large generators. There is no water supply, and they must have their own separate water processing unit for converting hard water to potable water. The drainage system is not in place; hence, when it rains, the polluted water surrounds homes. First, someone builds a house, and many start following him. Later, slowly, the road, water supply, electricity supply, and drainage would be added. There is no planning, and everything happens at its own pace, and people suffer.
God’s plan and preparation
No human was a witness to the creation. God confronted Job, asking, “Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? (Job 38:4) God was gracious to reveal His creation work to Moses. (Genesis 1) God planned and prepared the earth exactly so that it would be fit for Adam and Eve to live. God did not create the couple first and then try to fix what was needed around them.
Beginning
In the beginning, or the beginning of the beginning, God created heaven and the earth. This is a summary of the whole creation. (Genesis 1:1)
Order of creation
On all six days, there was creation and division for distinction. The first day, the Lord said: Light be; light was. It was divided from darkness. (Genesis 1:4; 7; 9-10; 14; 21; 25-26) The second day, the waters of the firmament were divided. The third day, the land was divided from the sea. The fourth day, the sun, moon, and stars were created to rule the day and night. The fifth day, sea creatures and birds of the air, two distinct species. On the sixth day, humanity is divided from the land creatures.
Comfortable environment
After creating the material world and other living things, God created Adam and Eve. God’s love for humans and the sustainable environment gives us understanding of His meticulous planning and great good purpose.
