The Green Heron (Butorides Virescens) is one of the birds that use tools for hunting. They’ll grab insects, fruit, and even bread to draw a few baitfish, which they dine on at their leisure. Fish when they get food, they swim to the surface. The heron, after seeing these fish coming up, will wait for its time and catch them and eat them.
Smart Satan: Satan is smart, clever, and keeps learning from his experiences. Interestingly, he has a vast experience right from his first deception of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. As he used the serpent to deceive, the Lord taught the disciples to be wise like serpents, but innocent as doves. (Matthew 10:16)
Smart strategies: Like the Green Heron, use tools that are attractive to deceive and destroy the disciples. The fish seeing the food easily and abundantly available go for getting free lunch. In the same way, Satan offers easy money, easy pleasures, and easy enjoyment, without much cost or effort. When undiscerning disciples go for them, they are destroyed. There are fake quasi-banks that offer high investment returns, many rush and get destroyed.
Stupid ox: A simple man without prudence goes behind a prostitute as an ox goes for the slaughter. (Proverbs 7:22-23) The end is death. Many people in the world do not realize that there is a Satan who makes them stumble, separates them from God, His purpose and will; and leads them to eternal death. A simple person, an ignorant person, and a negligent person cannot withstand the onslaught of Satan. Cunningly, Satan presents sin as harmless, without any consequence, and even pleasurable. A myth is created that the stolen water is sweet. (Proverbs 9:17) Which means, illegal, and illegitimate things are desirable.
Stupid sheep: If nonbelievers are like ox, believers are like sheep that are always prone to go astray. Disaster waits for a sheep, if the sheep is not following the shepherd, and starts following other sheep. Without realizing the consequences, believers go astray and pay a heavy price.
Am I cautious about the strategies of Satan?
