Spiritual journey

It is a busy railway junction. Two trains connecting two cities in the North and South, cross at this junction. Both trains arrive at almost the same time. A person who was supposed to go North boarded the train that was going South. The co-passengers found that he was sitting on the wrong train, going in the opposite direction, and advised him to take the other train. But that man refused. He traveled quite a distance, then was desperately trying to come back.
Right destination: A traveler should know the destination and direction of travel. If not like this man, end up in the wrong place. Life’s journey is towards eternity, reaching the eternal home, where God the creator, redeemer, and judge dwells. If a traveler has no destination, any train is fine. Humans have one life, and after that judgment. Hence, should be ready to face the judgment of God. (Hebrews 9:27)
Right Way: There is a myth that all roads lead to heaven as all roads lead to Rome in the ancient Roman Empire. The Lord Jesus Christ declared: “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.” (John 14:6) There is no alternative way, shorter way, or circuitous way.
Right choice: Thus says the LORD: “Stand by the roads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’ (Jeremiah 6:16) God has revealed Himself in Nature, through His Word, through the Lord Jesus Christ. Many are proclaiming the gospel as the good way and right way to find rest. Many do not want to walk in it.
Right learning: Ask and learn. For that humility is needed. Those who are proud of their culture, caste, class, clan, cult, ideology, traditions, customs…etc cannot learn the truth.
Right co-travelers: It is beneficial to travel together. The Church has co-pilgrims who have the same destination, vision, and purpose. It is a joyful journey with fellow believers.
Am I on the right journey in the right direction with the right people?
