Triumphant Christians

The Christian life is not a bed of roses. The Lord Jesus Christ invited His followers to take up the cross. Which means to embrace danger, sorrow, pain, suffering, and death. (Matthew 16:24-26) Yet, it is a journey of victory over victory.
Tears: Suffering could bring tears, as well as the disobedience of the people not obeying the Law. (Psalm 119:136) Believers turn the tears into springs. (Psalms 84:6)
Tests: Job amid his immense suffering understood that it was a testing time and would come out pure like gold. (Job 23:10)
Troubles: There would be trouble in the world, but the Lord encouraged His disciples to be of good cheer because He has overcome the world and we will follow His footsteps. (John 16:33)
Thorns and Thistles: Disturbances, difficulties, frustrations, weaknesses, and lack of things could overwhelm people of God. But they are minor irritations.
Temptations: In the world, there is always temptation. The desire of eyes, flesh, and pride of life will lead us astray. (I John 2:16-17) Temptations to please self, people, others, and even the government will always be strong.
Torments: Righteous Lot was tormented in his soul by what he saw, listened to, and witnessed. (II Peter 2:7) With Digital media, the misdeeds have been amplified and people are exposed.
Torture: People have been tortured for their faith throughout history. Of the twelve Apostles, many died as martyrs. Missionaries who were pioneers died in their mission fields. Even today, in many countries Christians are arrested, harassed, tortured, and killed.
Terrible Times: Around the world, among all cultures, nations, and communities, sin will abound. Paul writes that terrible times in the Last Days will be a sign. (II Timothy 3:1-5)
Tribulation: The Revelation of Apostle John talks about the tribulation, the ultimate before the coming of the Lord. Satan knowing his time is getting over, will intensify his attack on the People of God. (Revelation 12:12)
Triumph over death: The last enemy death is defeated, and they will be with the Risen Saviour forever. (I Corinthians 15:26)
