Violation of Sabbath

The death penalty for violation of the Sabbath is viewed as too harsh and a disproportionate punishment for a simple sin. (Exodus 35:2) The Sabbath is Holy, Rest in trusting Him, and Renewal by repurposing and refocusing life. (Genesis 2:2-3)
Lazy: Sadly, for some, the Sabbath is a day of expression of laziness. No work, sleep, and just kill time. They say a little more sleep, a little more slumber, and a little more folding of hands; thus, they rationalise the neglect of duty, call, and vision. (Proverb 24:33)
Seek entertainment: For many, the Holy Sunday has become Happy Sunday. They like to be happy by doing things that give them a moment of gladness, in the company of godless people. The games and hobbies may not be evil, but they could be a distraction from the noble and best. Weekend enjoyment is a pursuit for many. For they work five days, to spend and enjoy during weekends.
Workaholic: Some love their profession and wish to work without a break. It could be the joy of doing work, or the benefits that accompany the work, or the prestige that comes out of it, or the popularity gained by such hard work.
Seek more wealth: For some, the purpose of life is the pursuit of possessions. They are willing to break any laws or norms to gain a little more wealth. Breaking the Sabbath is not a big deal for such people.
True Sabbath: First, the realisation that God has ordained the Sabbath for human benefit and welfare. Second, doing self-evaluation in the light of the fact that humans are not created for work, but for glorifying Him. Third, trusting God, seeking His presence, and worshipping Him. It also includes listening to His voice. Four is a gathering of saints to enjoy living and rejoicing as a community. Five, is sharing God’s love to those who have not heard of Him. Six is caring for the sick, visiting those in prisons, and giving relief to those enduring suffering.
Do I rejoice in the Sabbath celebration?
