Accuser and Advocate

The accuser of saints would face the advocate of saints. Satan is termed as the accuser of the people of God. (Revelation 12:10)
Snares and Strategies: Satan has many snares and strategies to attack the saints of God. (I Timothy 3:7; 2:26; II Corinthians 2:11) His chief weapon is doubt. The children of God are induced to doubt God’s goodness, grace, love, steadfastness, faithfulness, holiness, generosity, and forgiveness. He casts doubt on the assurance of salvation:
God’s court: It could be imagined, how the scene could be. God the Father is seated as Judge on the throne. Satan is permitted to come and accuse people of God, as he did against the righteous Job. Satan could list many deeds, misdeeds, sins of omission, motivations, and intentions. Then God allows His Son as Advocate for saints to speak. He says: “My client is completely guilty. He deserves a death sentence according to the Holy Law.” Satan must rejoice, as the guilty have accepted the guilt. Then the Lord Jesus states: “Dad, he belongs to me. I took upon myself his guilt and punishment of death upon myself. The price has been paid.” The Father declares: “Guilty is charged; Penalty paid; Declared righteous.” Satan is angry and wild.
Faithful and Just: Father God is faithful and just. He ordained the plan of salvation that the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ cleanses all those from their sins who believe in Him. (I John 1:7) Father God is faithful to His Promises and His attribute of holiness. He neither could compromise with sin, nor forgive without punishment and atonement. God is Just, God of Justice, who will not punish twice for the same sin. Because the punishment is borne by His Son; a sinner who believes, will not be punished again. When a believer stumbles or falls when pursuing the path of holiness, has an opportunity to be restored as the Savior Himself is the Righteous Advocate, propitiation for our sins, and is seated on the Right Hand of the Father. (I John 2:1-2)
Do I stand with the Advocate when Satan accuses me?
