Adam’s Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence
All Artificial Intelligence put together can never equal that of Adam and Eve before their Fall. Adam was able to recognize, categories, and name all species of reptiles, birds, and animals. (Genesis 2:19) The world around zoologists and scientists has been continuously explored and discovered for several centuries. There are many more to be discovered yet.
Perfect God The Omniscient, Omnipresent, and Omnipotent God created a perfect world and gave it as habitation for the first couple, who were perfect. No person or power could replicate the perfect Adam and Eve.
Imperfect human The Fallen human being cannot create perfect or complete Artificial Intelligence that could resemble the intelligence that was in Adam before his Fall, by disobedience.
Superiority of Humans God created humans in His own image. He benevolently granted humans free will, identity, dignity, self-awareness, meaningful communication, and morality. Human intelligence is natural and is a gift of God. In contrast, AI is stimulated and data-driven. AI can only create patterns, process data, deduce algorithmic logic, and operate without an ethical foundation.
Superhuman capacity? Does AI have superhuman intelligence? NO. The intelligence the AI does is what has been provided by humans. It has enhanced memory, as the huge volume of data, knowledge, and information documented by humans is at its disposal. It could analyze in the same way as humans could, but the speed is much faster than humans. The skill or trick or technique to analyses is a gift of humans.
Superhuman or stupid outcomes? Nevertheless, the outcome or conclusion or advice that the AI comes up with is not superhuman, but an interpretation of several humans. Even the world could consider that great, wonderful, amazing, but from God’s perspective it is vain and even like menstrual clothes, as all human righteousness is according to Prophet Isaiah. (Isaiah 64:6)
Without emotion Artificial Intelligence is without love. Paul asserts that knowledge puffs up, but love builds up. AI cannot build up a person in love, grace, wisdom, mercy, and compassion.
