Bees attack and kill

Kanchan Bai Meghwal, an Anganwadi worker, found swarms of bees approaching the compound where children were playing. She quickly wrapped the children one by one with a mat, brought them into the centre, saving twenty children. Later, she was attacked by bees, and she collapsed and died. Her bravery and sacrifice were greatly appreciated. (NDTV 3 February 2026) The Psalmist also prayed for protection as wicked men, like the bees surrounded him. (Psalm 118:12)
Sting and death: Bee stings are poisonous, dangerous and life-threatening. Paul wrote to the Corinthians, stating that the sting of sin results in death. Satan’s sting of poison and death resulted in the spiritual death of the First couple, Adam and Eve. Nevertheless, the Lord Jesus Christ, the redeemer through His resurrection, destroyed the sting. All humans carry this deadly poison, unless they are redeemed by the Lord.
Victory: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” “O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting? ”The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (I Corinthians 15:55-57) The Law of Moses condemned all humans, as all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. God’s grace provides Eternal Life to all those who believe in Him.
Sting made powerless: Satan thought he had the ultimate weapon to destroy humanity created in the image of God. Nevertheless, the death and resurrection of the Lord made the effects of sin powerless and worthless, redeeming humans who turn to Him in faith. The Spirit of God helps a believer to be obedient, not rebellious; to love Him and serve Him.
Eternal life: The New Life the Lord gives is a quality life that has no end, and is in His Holy presence in Heaven. It would be an eternal time of rejoicing in His presence and hearing numerous saints sharing what God did to them by removing the sting, and through their lives.
Can I declare with Paul that death is swallowed up in victory?
