A flight from Mumbai to Manchester had to make an emergency landing in Kuwait due to an engine fire. The passengers were divided into two groups: those holding entitled passports from the European Union, the UK, and the USA, who were allowed to enter Kuwait without a visa, and those from South and Southeast Asia, who needed a visa and were unable to enter. The entitled passport holders received accommodation and food, while the others had to wait in the airport. (NDTV, 2 December 2024)
Two Groups:
Just as the passengers were separated into two groups, humanity is ultimately divided into two groups before God:
Those entitled to enter His glorious presence.
Those not entitled to dwell with the Holy God.
Though the world recognizes many divisions—caste, class, tribe, race, nationality, and religion—before God, only one distinction matters: whether a person is redeemed or not.
Two Ways:
God has set before humanity two paths: the Way of Life and the Way of Death. (Deuteronomy 30:19) There are no middle roads or alternate routes.
“Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. But the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.” (Matthew 7:13-14)
Two Choices:
God has given us free will, but the choice is clear:
Accept the Son of God, the Savior and Lord.
Follow the many false and empty paths of the world.
“Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish in the way, for his wrath is quickly kindled. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.” (Psalm 2:12)
Two Destinations:
Many think they are on the right path, but it leads to destruction. (Proverbs 14:12) Those who reject Christ, whose names are not found in the Book of Life, will be cast into the Lake of Fire, suffering the Second Death—eternal torment with weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Are you cleansed by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ?
