Pleasing God, and making the heavens rejoice is the greatest purpose of life. A wise son makes the heart of a father glad. (Proverbs 10:1)
Great Commandment: The Greatest commandment has two aspects. First is to love the Lord with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength. It is not just obeying, but loving the Lord with the whole being. Second, love your neighbor as yourself. (Matthew 22:36-40) Worship and missions always go together.
Great Commission: Lord Jesus Christ as the Captain of Salvation has commissioned His disciples to go into the world to make disciples of all nations. (Hebrews 2:10; Matthew 28:18-20) All disciples are ‘Commissioned Officers’ in the army of God.
Great Communication: The Great Commission is Great communication. That is to communicate the love of God through Lord Jesus Christ, expressed on the cross of Calvary towards Fallen humanity. The greatest news, good news, and glad news are the gospel that must be repeatedly told, announced, and propagated.
Great Migration: The Church is the Greatest community that is globally involved in Great migration to reach all nations, cultures, languages, and people groups. In the history of humanity, Christian missionaries migrated taking the gospel to remote corners of the world.
Great Transformation: Some social reformers and activists try to change individuals, families, communities, and nations. However, their efforts proved to be short-lived. However, the gospel transforms people renewing their minds, purifying their aspirations, inspiring godly desires, and implementing the righteousness of God.
Great Education: Lord Jesus was the greatest teacher in the history of humanity. He commanded his disciples to teach all that He taught his disciples. The Word of God is truth. One who listens to the words of Lord Jesus Christ is like the Wiseman who builds his house upon the rock. (Matthew 7:24)
Great Joy: Lord Jesus Christ taught there is a great celebration in heaven when one sinner repents. (Luke 15:10) Meaningful and purposeful life is always joyful. Christians are simple or humble people who serve the Great God and enjoy Great Joy.
