Hatred and violence

In recent times, in conflicts (riots, civil wars, wars) women are battered, tortured, and raped brutally. There is no fear of God, no regard for law, and no sensitivity to other humans.
Principles of war: Moses Law has provided principles for war. Even fruit-bearing trees should not be cut for besieging a city. “When you besiege a city for a long time, making war against it to take it, you shall not destroy its trees by wielding an axe against them. You may eat from them, but you shall not cut them down. Are the trees in the field human, that they should be besieged by you? (Deuteronomy 20:19) The Geneva Convention lays down principles for treating common people as well as the prisoners of war.
Power: The brutality is to display the power of oppressors, that to powerless, unarmed victims, including women and children. Power should be exhibited in human combat when the other is equally prepared for war. Displaying might to terrified victims is indeed a cowardly act.
Punishment: The rioters, militants, terrorists, and soldiers think they have a mandate to punish anyone without mercy. Brutality and ruthlessness are exhibited in their attitude and actions.
Public humiliation: The intention of harassing and battering women is to publicly humiliate the perceived, imagined, or real enemies. They are trying to shame the enemies by ill-treating the women and children. Enemies are taunted for their inability to protect their women and children.
Provoke: This is done to even start a war by provoking other communities or nations.
Protect the weak: Heroes are those who protect the weak, defend the defenseless, and are polite in dealing with those who oppose them.
Pettiness: Hatred makes people show pettiness to others. Demeaning others, deceiving others, and doing unwarranted criminal acts are results of uncontrolled anger and hatred.
Patience and self-control: “Whoever is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit more than he who takes a city. (Proverbs 16:32)
