Wearing a bright red turban and a sherwani, a Dubai-based laborer from Punjab’s Jalandhar was left stranded along with 150 wedding guests after his bride failed to turn up at the venue in Moga city. The wedding was scheduled to take place at a venue called “Rose Garden Palace, ” when the bridegroom and relatives on arrival discovered that such a venue never existed, and the bride was missing, and her phone switched off. Rapture:
When the Lord, the Bridegroom comes for His Bride the Church, this kind of disappearance will not happen. Instead, The Church will be gathered and raptured and be united with the bridegroom and the official wedding ceremony will happen in heaven, the eternal union of Christ and His bride. (Revelation 19:7-9; 21:1-2) The world will perhaps realize and understand that the holy people of God missing from among them, though they do not perceive the Church as the Bride of Christ.

In the Old Testament the Children of Israel, the people of covenant left worshipping God and followed other gods that were not gods. God through His prophets rebuked them as committing spiritual adultery. They were called Unfaithful Wife. (Jeremiah 3:20; Ezekiel 16; Hosea 3:1) When the disciples of the Lord, forsake the truth and give priority to other things, they become idols. The things people or projects that consume their energy, time, strength, and stamina are the idols of the hearts. (Ezekiel 14:4)

Spotless and Blameless:
The Bridegroom, the Lord Himself loves, sacrifices, and purifies the bride; so that “He might present the church to himself in splendour, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.” (Ephesians 5:27) Holiness should be a relentless pursuit of all believers. Those who live the anticipation and perpetual hope of His Coming will purify themselves. (I John 3:3)
