Oppression and Injustice

One poor person joined a distance education course in a University. He did hard work, completed all assignments, and wrote all exams. However, he did not get his graduation certificate. When he went to the office, he found that his name was missing. He produced all documents, yet officials could not trace his name at all. Later it was found out that instead of his name, some other name was overwritten (interpolated), and the certificate was issued to that person who probably bribed the staff. When the poor man confronted the officials, they said he must go to the court to get it sorted out. He did not have any more emotional strength or finance to pursue that action. His future was dark, as all his labour, time, energy, and money he invested was looted by someone else.
“For whenever the Israelites planted crops, the Midianites and the Amalekites and the people of the East would come up against them. They would encamp against them and devour the produce of the land, as far as Gaza, and leave no sustenance in Israel and no sheep or ox or donkey.” (Judges 6:3,4) The unrighteous acts like this are a clear violation of God’s Commandments. (Exodus 20:2-17)
1) Covet: Covetousness leads to unwarranted and illegitimate desires. These desires stimulate a possessive obsession. A person will pursue right or wrong methods to obtain it. A college degree is a good thing, but desire to have it in an illegal and unethical way is the fruit of covetousness.
2) Steal: One person has worked hard and earned his degree. Someone could do identity theft and steal the degree certificate by bribery. The poor person who is the legitimate owner is dispossessed by a conspiracy of corrupt officials and avarice lazy rich people.
3) False witness: Documents were falsified and attested. Officials gave false witness that the usurper was the owner of the educational qualification.
4) Murder: Though the poor person was physically alive, he was killed in his spirit, aspiration, dream, future and hope.
Can I facilitate justice and righteousness in this world?
