Precious Children

Bobb Biehl has written a book named ‘Decade by Decade.’ In that, he mentions how children at the age of nine are important. They are shaped at that age, and parents, Sunday school teachers, and schoolteachers should take utmost care and invest wisely in them.
Distraught mother: There was a single mother with a nine-year-old girl child. This girl increasingly became naughty, disobedient, and rebellious. The distraught mother could not handle her. Even the neighbors in the village knew this child as mischievous. One neighbor suggested that the mother take the child to a Sunday School. The mother did not know what Sunday School was. Then she learned that in the church in the village, they have Sunday School classes for children. One Sunday, she took her to the Church and sent her to Sunday school.
Transformed: The mother did not really know what happened to her child. She was totally transformed. The child was no more rebellious or disobedient. The mother went to the church again and attended the service herself. She also became a follower of the Lord. Later, the girl grew up, and both mother and daughter did tremendous ministry of preaching, teaching, and counseling.
Jesus loves Children: The mothers took their children to the Lord Jesus Christ. (Matthew 19:13-15) The disciples hindered them; however, the Lord rebuked them. He commanded his disciples to let the children come to him. The Lord blessed them. Many parents do not know how and why to bring their children to the Lord. Parents are recipients of the gifts (children) from the Lord, and they are stewards to bring up the children in the knowledge of the Word of God.
Sunday School: Some churches do not have children’s ministry (Sunday School) and are like the ignorant disciples who sent away children, instead of bringing them to the Lord. Local churches and pastors should prioritize the ministry to children, developing dynamic ministry to discipline and make them disciples of the Lord. Pastors fail families when they do not have effective Sunday School in their church.
Do I prioritize teaching the children the Bible?
