Sins inside the church?

If any person expects the Church to be perfect, best, excellent, it is an illusion. Like Midas touch, whatever institution humans are part of will be corrupted or tainted by sin. Even in the first century the churches had problems and leaders corrected them with right teaching of the Word of God and by help of the Holy Spirit.
1) Dominating leaders: Diotrephes was a dominating, dictating, and directing leader. (III John 9) He was not humble, rejected the authority of Apostle John and even excommunicated believers without valid reason.
2) Discrimination: There was an allegation that in the welfare project of distribution of material to widows there was discrimination between the Hebrew and Greek speaking widows. (Acts 6) Apostles had to set it right by choosing the right leaders. Jewish disciples including Peter felt superior to Gentile disciples. (Galatians 2:11-14)
3) Deception: Ananias and Sapphira dedicated their inheritance to the Lord. After selling it, they had second thoughts and kept some portion for themselves yet giving the impression that they had given all. They died in the presence of God. (Acts 5)
4) Discernment missed: Prophets without discernment, who wanted to please the king, were misled by lying spirits. (I Kings 22:22-23) Even today people pleasing prophets or pastors have no discernment. Believers lie to one another. (Colossians 3:9)
5) Divisions and groupism: The church in Corinth had different groups each becoming a fan of leaders like Paul or Cephas or Apollos. (I Corinthians 1:10-17)
6) Disagreement and Court Cases: Euodia and Syntyche could not agree with one another. Some believers went against other believers appealing for justice in the court. (Philippians 4:2; I Corinthians 6:1)
7) Doctrinal flaw: Tyatira church tolerated false teachers and the Lord rebuked that church. (Revelation 2:18-29)
8) Daring sexual sin: Paul condemns a person who indulges in sex with his stepmother, and which was not tolerated even outside the church. (I Corinthians 5:1)
9) Denied dignity: The rich believers abused Lord’s supper and ignored poor believers. (I Corinthians 11:17-34)
