Twisted Personalities

A small girl got a set of toy cooking vessels for her to play with. There were several pieces. Some were like pans and bowls with tight-fitting lids. One day as she was playing, a lid rolled away, and her mother stamped on it. It got twisted and the girl cried. Her mother tried to bring it back to shape but could not. Her father tried using tools like a hammer but could not. It had to be taken to a mechanic shop, heated, and shaped to fit as a lid.

Ways twisted: Some choose a lifestyle that is twisted or crooked. They do not like to go in straight paths. Alternative, novelty, and experience determine the sideways of death. These twisted paths are ways of death and not life.
Socially twisted: In the hyper-connected world, many youngsters are twisted by the opinions of others on social media. Sadly, life becomes a game or performance before the digital gallery. The likes, applause icon, and thumbs-up sign decide the value of a person. Also, many are isolated from the real world and people.
Restoration: As the lid had to be set right by going through the process of heat and high pressure, God uses His Spirit, and His Word in the process of testing, trials, troubles, and even tribulations to restore a person. Most of the time, sickness, defeats, adversities, loss, rejection…etc., are tools of restoration for God.
