Constructive or Destructive

There is an interesting Indian fable. In the forest, it was raining heavily. The birds returned to their nest and were keeping themselves warm. One monkey came and sat on the branch near the nest. It was shivering in the cold. The bird told the monkey: “Why can’t you build a nest like us? You would be protected from the cold and need not shiver like this during rains.” The monkey replied: “I do not know how to build a nest. But I know how to destroy a nest.” Starting so, it ripped off the nest and the birds flew in fear.
Steal, kill, and destroy: Lord Jesus Christ said that Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy. (John 10:10) The behavior of the monkey was like that. The intention and motivation are always negative. Satan is inherently evil and wicked, can never have good intentions, and hence, cannot do good.
Envy: Lucifer even envied God, hence wanting to exalt himself and have his throne above all stars. (Isaiah 14:12-14) Being envious of worship God is worthy of and received, he covered for worship. Instead of being grateful to God, he was proud. Hence, he was thrown out of heaven. When God created Adam and Eve, he was envious of the first human couple and the way God had fellowship with them. He deceived them to rebel against God.
Sadist: Ruthlessness, brutality, and enjoying the pain and suffering of others is Satanic nature. He intended immense pain, suffering, loss, and defeat for humans. As millions suffer in misery, Satan rejoices over it. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. (I Corinthians 13:6)
Unique Love and compassion: God is love, he first loved us. (I John 4:8) Lord Jesus Christ demonstrated love by expressing compassion stating: People are like sheep without a shepherd. (Matthew 9:36) Love of God transforms people to make them constructive contributors by doing good. (Galatians 6:9-10)
Persecution: Missionaries toil, sacrifice, and uplift communities through their service. Anti-Christian forces destroy churches, hospitals, schools, colleges, institutions, and even graveyards.
Am I weary of doing good because of opposition?
