Delusion or Defiance?

Delusion or Defiance?

One young couple were fascinated with jungles and forest.  They became forest officers and also built a home on a tree and started living there while performing their duty.  One son was born, while they were in the forest.  The child gradually grew in the jungle, and the small boy became friendly with some birds and animals like monkey.  Playing with these was his daily routine.  Parents taught him to read and write.  The couple said that they were parents:  father and mother.  However, the boy would call a monkey friend as mother and a deer as father.  It was childish behaviour according to parents.  After few more months they came to a village started living there.  The boy remembered the jungle and continued to talk about monkey and deer and wanted to go back.  His mother became so irritated hearing boy calling monkey as mother.  The boy did not change for many years.  Can it be called delusion or ignorance?

Like the little boy, there are millions delusional by Theory of Evolution.  Instead of understanding that they are humans created by God, they think they have evolved from lower animals or monkey.  Adamant in their opinion, refuse to listen to reason.  In fact, they claim to be wise, but they are fools, hence they exchanged the glory of God to images resembling images of animals.  (Romans 1:22,23)

Paul writes that there are others who are in defiance of God.  They refuse to acknowledge the divine attributes of God: Eternal power and divine nature evident in the created world.  (Romans 1:20) “The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge.”  (Psalms 19:1,2) However, millions do not bother to observe, think, reflect and understand.  Hence, they come to a conclusion that God does not exist.

Praise God for His revelation through the created world, Word of God (Bible) and ultimately through Lord Jesus Christ.  (Hebrews 1: 2)

Do I know God who has revealed Himself in nature, Word and in Christ?
