God of the Bible writes. There are many ways God has written and continues to write.
1) DNA: Psalmist writes: “Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.” (Psalms 139:16) It is a wonder that there are no two individuals among billions having the same physical features or intelligence or temperament. God writes the DNA code for everyone that is essential for growth, development and health.
2) The Law: God commanded Moses to bring two tablets of stone. On that he wrote the Ten Commandments that are for all humanity. All humans would be judged according to His Law revealed in the Bible.
3) Writing on the Wall: God wrote the judgement on Belshazzar, when he was partying using Temple furniture from Jerusalem, and praising false gods. That writing was for judgement that He was Numbered, Evaluated and Kingdom divided. That very night he was assassinated. (Daniel 5) Some scholars think Lord Jesus wrote on sand a similar way to remind those who wanted to stone to death a woman who was caught in the act of adultery. (John 8: 6)
4) Book of Life: All those who accept Lord Jesus Christ as savior, their names are written in the Book of Life. (Philippians 4:3)
5) Book of remembrance: Prophet Malachi writes that God has a Book of remembrance. (Malachi 3:16) God does not need a memory prompter or memory recorder. This metaphor is used so that humans can understand. Ancient kings like that of Persia had books, records, and documents about those who had provided service to the King, household of king and kingdom. They will be rewarded. Mordecai’s name was recorded but not rewarded, one sleepless night king discovers and rewards him. (Esther 6:1-3) God rewards even when a person provides a glass of water in His name, and does not forget the deeds of love. (Matthew 10:42; Hebrews 6:20)
Do I gladly worship an omniscient God who writes to reveal himself?
