Impossible

There are four things that are impossible according to the author of Hebrews.
Impossible for God to lie: The creator and Holy God does not lie, there is no falsehood in Him. (Hebrews 6:18) There are no white, black, gray, and multi-colored lies. Satan is Father of lies, and all who follow him trust and are comfortable in untruth and falsehood. (John 8:44) God is Truth, His Word is Truth, Lord Jesus Christ is the Truth and the Holy Spirit is the Truth.

Impossible to save: The blood of bulls or goats or other animals do not have the capacity to take away sin. (Hebrews 10:4) The wages of sin is death. (Romans 6:23) Forgiveness and salvation is possible only by the death, the shedding of blood by a sinless person. Lord Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God that took away the sin of the world. His blood cleanses those who come to Him that their sins are forgiven, conscience guiltless. (Hebrews 9:14)

Impossible without faith: Those who come to Lord God should believe that He is and rewards those who seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6) Faith is not assumption or presumption, but reasonable faith on God’s revelation.

Impossible for Enlightened: The Son of God is the light of the world, who enlightens all those who come to Him and believe. (John 1: 9) God is light and in Him there is no darkness. (I John 1:5) Those who are enlightened by the Son of God will not reject Him or forsake Him or deny Him or betray Him. (Hebrews 6:4-6) There are others who create their own lights and think they are enlightened. Or, they fake spirituality by pretending like believers. Isaiah warns: “Behold, all you who kindle a fire, who equip yourselves with burning torches! Walk by the light of your fire, and by the torches that you have kindled! This you have from my hand: you shall lie down in torment.” (Isaiah 50:10) Sadly, millions are in darkness but think they foolishly imagine they are in light.

Have I come to Him in faith and enlightened?
