Vaccination protects people against harmful diseases. It is simple, safe, and effective. Vaccination is the administration of a vaccine to help the immune system of a body to develop immunity against a disease. Vaccines contain a microorganism or virus in a weakened or killed state or proteins or toxins from the organism. The vaccine stimulates the body to develop immunity to prevent infectious diseases.
Immune system: God has created humans in a special way that the blood can produce antibiotics when an infection occurs in the body. Some diseases are deadly and quick. Before the blood could produce the right antibiotic, there could be death.
Vaccination and Memory: Hence a vaccine is developed from the blood of a person who has defeated the disease (like smallpox or Covid 19). The vaccinated person gains the blood with the memory of antibodies producing capacity that will fight any invasion of the disease (like smallpox or Covid 19). This memory empowers us to overcome the disease.
Shed blood: Paul Brand and Philip Yancey in their book Fearfully and Wonderfully write about two aspects of the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. The first aspect is blood shed for the forgiveness of sins. The blood of Christ cleanses a person of sins. (Hebrews 9:22; I John 1:7) All who believe in Lord Jesus Christ that he died for their sins, buried, and rose again, receiving the gift of forgiveness.
Shared blood: The second aspect of the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ is shared in communion as members of the Body of Christ under the New Covenant. (Luke 22:20) This blood that has defeated Sin, Death, Satan, and the World has been shared by Lord Jesus Christ with the believers.
Conquerors: The victorious Blood of Lord Jesus Christ in the believers helps them to conquer the Accuser, Satan. (Revelation 12:11)
Divine nature: St. Peter writes that we have been bestowed with divine nature. (II Peter 1:4) Life is in the blood, hence, all believers share the divine nature and become overcomers. (Leviticus 17:11)
Have I overcome Sin, World, Death, and Satan?
