Several Mindsets

God’s gift to humans is the mind. Satan blinds that mind. (II Corinthians 4:4) When a person comes to Christ, the eyes of the mind are opened, but they should cultivate a renewed mind by reading and meditating on the Bible. (Acts 26:18; Romans 12:2) Sadly, the people of the world have different, pathetic mindsets.
Fatalistic mindset: Some have a worldview that is based on Karma. A person’s destiny is already decided, and it is believed to be based on the sins of a past birth. But according to the Bible, there are no multiple births. Such prisoners of the past do not have freedom of choice and believe they were victims of fate and circumstances.
Feudalistic mindset: Some have a hierarchical idea about society. As they belong to the higher echelons of society, they dominate, dictate, direct, and decide for those who are of a lesser status.
Faulty mindset: Some are like a faulty bow; it never hits the target. (Psalm 78:57)
Filthy mindset: A few always think of sin, evil, and wickedness. (Genesis 6:5)
Foolish mindset: Those who do not believe in a loving, living, creator, and sovereign God are fools. Their thoughts would be obviously foolish. (Psalm 14:1)
Futile mindset: Paul writes that those who do not know the real God and reject the gospel have a futile mindset. (Ephesians 4:17)
Fruitless mindset: The minds of people are not fertile enough to receive the Word of God. The mind could be seedless, like the path on which the seeds fell; rootless, that fell on rocky ground, and fruitless, because of thorns. (Matthew 13:1-23)
Fantasy mindset: Some always imagine, fantasies, and dream. They live in a make-believe world that is disconnected from reality. They build castles in the air.
Fantastic mindset: The disciples could have a fantastic mindset, as they fear the Lord and gain wisdom. (Proverbs 9:10) They know God the Father, hence have Eternal Life. (John 17:3) As they receive Christ, they have wisdom and power. They approach the world with an eternal perspective, Biblical worldview, and Eternal Hope.
Do I have a fantastic mindset in Christ?
