Morality springs from the Holy God

Some people argue that moral values are known and evident in all cultures and all religions. Nevertheless, all moral and spiritual values are derived from one source, the Holy God, the creator of Heaven and Earth. For example, the covenant of marriage is a biblical value. (Genesis 2:21-22)
Holy God: The attribute of holiness is the basis for all morality. Without a holy God and His righteous values, there can be no standards of morality. Everyone would do as they see fit. (Judges 21:25) The laws and values would become subjective to an individual. Hence, everyone is right from their own perspective and rejects all values and standards of God, society or the law of the land.
Sacred covenant: Marriage is a sacred covenant as a man and woman become husband and wife. They are one body and one flesh. It is a mystical union, beyond human comprehension.
Same-sex union: Some people promote same-sex marriages. If God’s plan was so, he would have created another male as a spouse for Adam. But the Bible clearly teaches that God created a woman for man to be complete.
Multiple spouses: In some religions, more than one spouse is permitted. In some cultures one woman could marry many men, or a man could marry many women.
Wife as a property: In some religions, women are considered property of their husbands. They can even buy and sell them off like a commodity.
Wife as a slave: Some religions teach the husband as ‘god’ and should be worshipped by his wife. Since the gods are always angry, the slaves have to continue to appease them more and more. Husband gods could treat their wives like slaves, extracting work, hitting them, demeaning, and humiliating them.
Punishment and judgment: Holy God makes people accountable. Humans are moral beings and must give an account to God. There is punishment in this world, and an ultimate judgement after death. (Hebrews 9:27)
Called to be holy: Christians are called to lead a holy life, as God, who is worshipped, is holy.
