Remember with diligence!

Forgetfulness is natural for humans. People do acts of kindness, but they are forgotten. A poor man’s contribution to protecting and saving a city was forgotten by the citizens of that city. (Ecclesiastes 9:15) Yes, many people are contributors but forgotten; many times, wicked people get statues and memorials. God taught Israel to remember the deeds of God with diligence, as long as they are alive, and teach their children too. (Deuteronomy 4:9)
Remember the Covenant: The Nation of Israel should diligently remember the covenant they made with the Lord on Mount Horeb. That generation had witnessed God’s mighty deeds in Egypt to deliver them, marvelous deeds in the wilderness, and God’s faithfulness. God has made a covenant with the Nation of Israel, and the Israelites should never forget that. For the New Testament believers, they should never forget the Calvary, where the Son of God died for our sins and made a covenant with His people who believe in Him. It is remembered every time they come and celebrate the Holy Communion. (I Corinthians 11:24-25)
Remember the Commandments: God exhorted Israel to remember His commandments. (Numbers 15:40) Those who love God will keep His commandments. (John 14:15-17) In the hills, guardrails are erected to stop people from falling off the cliffs. The Commandments of God are like the guardrails that protect a person from falling into sin and death.
Remember the Church: Every person has to believe and receive the Lord as his/her personal savior. Nevertheless, all disciples are to be part of the Local Church, enjoying the fellowship of the saints. (Hebrews 10:25)
Remember those in chains: Paul reminds his readers to remember those who are chained for the gospel, like him. (Colossians 4:18) In most parts of the world, Christians are harassed, haunted, hunted, and persecuted. It is appropriate to remember them, pray for them, and, when possible, extend a hand to help them.
Remember the Commission: The life of a Christian has one purpose, which is to make disciples for the Lord, and one priority is to extend His Kingdom.
Do I diligently remember these?
