Sorry, not accepted

A boy without a driving license drives an SUV with his sister at night to record a reel. The car was deliberately driven on the wrong side of the road at a high speed. A 23-year-old young man was on his bike when he was hit by an SUV; he died. He was his mother’s only child. (NDTV 17 February 2026)
Lawlessness: The law states that it is illegal to drive a vehicle without a license. Driving on the wrong side of the road is another lawless act. High-speed driving is also another act of rebellion. That to capture the thrill of doing unlawful things and making it viral on social media is wickedness. In the last days, the lawlessness will increase or abound. (Matthew 24:12)
Parenting flaw: The sibling could drive away from home at night, demonstrating the parenting flaw. The father was away because of his job. The mother was asleep when this happened. The siblings have planned this adventure, hoodwinked their parents, but it resulted in irreparable damage to the family.
Sorry for what: The father of the boy said, “Sorry.” The mother of the young man who died refused to accept that. Neither his sorry nor his sympathy could bring the young man back to life. The distraught mother, who lost all hope in the death of her son, demanded justice. She said she had no family, no other child, no other reason. The vehicle had 13 challans, nine were for speeding, indicating the boy had done this reckless adventure several times. The incompetent father’s regret was rejected.
Knowledge puffs up: The arrested teenager got bail, the lawyer argued that he was a brilliant student, and he was writing his final exams. He was a brilliant student in memorizing text books, but did not have the brilliance to know law, care for others, be disobedient to parents, rebellious against the laws of the land, and disregard for other people’s lives. Education without values is without love. Only love builds up, whereas knowledge puffs up. (I Corinthians 8:1)
Do I love and care for others’ safety, or is recklessness a habit of life?
